Clothes Drive – Madrassa Ashaab e Suffah

We are honored to share about our #YouthClothesDrive2022 Project. This weekend #SocietyForYouth organized a clothes distribution at the Ashaab e Suffah Madrassa near Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan. We were able to distribute clothing items among a total of 115 deserving students at the Madrassa. Nearly half the students were older than 25 and the rest belonged to different age groups with 15 students under 15 years old.

This project is part of our intentional endeavor towards involving, and serving the more vulnerable demographics in our community. Madrassa students normally come from underprivileged backgrounds and have several fundamental needs. The #YouthClothesDrive2022 aims to practice collective care and draw attention to the importance of shared responsibility in looking after one’s own community members.

We are very grateful to Qari Saeed sahb, and other senior students of the Madrassa that helped us organize a smooth project. Thank you to SFY leaders Abraham, Ahmad, Armaghan, Umer, Ibrahim and Owais for their hardwork and efforts in organizing this project.
