MHM 2 Day Training Session

#SocietyFoYouth organized a 2-day #YouthMenstrualHealth2022 Training on the 18th and 19th of February. Miss Shazia Sardar led the training hosted at Pak School and College Mardan. The #YouthMenstrualHealth2022 Training brought 19 female leaders from different educational institutions in Mardan, Swabi, Abbottabad and Islamabad.
The training focused on the importance of proper Menstrual Health Management. It helped reiterate better health and hygiene practices for women as well as highlighted the negative consequences of lack of care. The trainees learned about the effects of menstrual care on climate change as well and how to embrace sustainable menstrual care practices.
The 2-day training engaged the trainees meaningfully and facilitated important and critical conversations around menstrual health. #SocietyForYouth seeks to further expand on the #YouthMenstrualHealth2022 and reach out to the larger public in phase of this project.
We are heartily grateful to the Principal Sir Muhammad Ilyas and administration of Pak School for their valuable support in this endeavor. Thank you also to Miss Shazia Sardar for her leadership and guidance through this process. A huge shout out to all the female leaders that participated in the training. Lastly, thank you to Mardan chapter, especially to Armaghan and Waleed for putting in the grassroots efforts in organizing this training.
