MHM Presentation – Alam Academy,Abbottabad
#SocietyForYouth organized its first successful session of #YouthMenstrualHealth2022 Campaign at Alam Academy, in Abbottabad. During Phase 2 we will be reaching out to a number of local institutions, in different cities, to spread awareness around #MenstrualHealth and key aspects of female hygiene management. Students from 7th to 10th grade participated in the session and were eager to learn more about menstrual health management. SFY leaders provided an overview of the importance of effective and responsible menstrual health management. And highlighted healthy practices that help in self-care during menstrual cycles.

#SocietyForYouth is quite intentional in fostering grassroots relationships, especially around subjects and communities that have traditionally been neglected. The #YouthMenstrualHealth2022 Campaign is specially focused on not only cultivating these important relationships, but also promoting indigenous leadership capacity strengthening.
