MHM Kits Distribution Sattar Khan Colony & Akbar Pura Banda Sheikh Ismail Nowshera – #YouthFloodRelief
Society For Youth is delighted to share that we distributed 350 menstrual health kits among flood affectees as a part of our #YouthFloodRelief. These kits were distributed at two locations, a) Sattar Khan Colony near Kabul river and b) Akbarpura, Banda Shiekh Ismail, Nowshehra.SFY leaders took the opportunity to educate the recipients of health kits and raise awareness about proper and responsible menstrual healthcare.
The discussion identified various cultural taboos and myths related to menstrual health. SFY’s menstrual health kits are reusable, and our leaders focused on raising awareness about sustainable and environmentally friendly practices of menstrual healthcare.
