Medical Camp at Insaf Property, Tehseen ul Quran Madrassa & Rahim Abad Pushtungarhi Nowshera – #YouthFloodRelief
SFY organized it’s first set of two medical camps in partnership with Pukhtoon Relief Foundation, as part of the #YouthFloodRelief. We organized two medical camps each at Insaf Property near Tehseen ul Quran Madrassa Nowshera and Rahim Abad Pushtungarhi.
Both the camps served approximately 600 local patients who were affected by the flood. The recent floods have worsened the health situation and disease prevention in a number of areas, locals experienced several problems including skin problems, rashes , coughing, stomach problems etc.
Grassroots organizing must be grounded in local leadership, and exercise through collective leadership. We owe a debt of gratitude to Pukhtoon Relief Foundation for their partnership and support on this needed project.
