#40in4Campaign – Dar e Arqam School, Nankana Sahab
SFY organized its 8th session at Dar-e-Arqam School in Nankana Sahib as a part of #YouthMenstrualHealth project. This MHM session served 48 students of grad 6 and 10. Majority of the young students weren’t properly guided about menstrual health management.Students continue to identify popular taboos and myths in the wider culture and how these permeate through daily practice. These cultural notions are quite common and lead to mismanagement of menstrual hygiene in numerous ways.

Students were excited about the information and awareness they received throughout the session.They participated actively in the discussions around menstrual health and shared their opinions, experiences, and problems they had and continued to face due to lack of awareness.

We are thankful to Principal Ma’am Zunaira Jalil for permitting sfy leaders to present on MHM in her school. Thank you to SFY leader Nida Nasreen for her continued dedication towards these sessions and campaign.
