#40In4Campaign – Stars School System Nankana Sahab
The #40In4Campaign completed its 11th session focused on #YouthMenstrualHealth at Stars School System Nankana Sahib Campus. This MHM session served 35 young students of grade 6 and 7.
6 and 7 grade students are quite young and some may not have prior experiences with menstrual health.But may have heard about it from their friends, family or other sources. Therefore, SFY’s aim here was to facilitate a guiding conversation about menstrual health. 
And raise awareness on key topics such as at what age do girls experience it, how to overcome the wave of fear that one gets from it, how is it the normal physiology of female body, how to deal with it, what are the modes of sanitation and selecting best suited mode, what are the do’s and dont’s in these days, what problems females normally face with it, what can be the abnormalities, when to see your doctor, how can students discuss it openly with their mothers and teachers.

The students’ feedback and participation was great and the interest and discussion generated by this session will help many young girls to voice their menstrual health related concerns.We are grateful to Madam Shazia Saleem Principal (Stars School System) for understanding the importance of this session and allowing us to conduct it in their institute.
