#YouthPeaceInitiative – Government Shaheed Umar Hayat School and College, Charsadda
#YouthPeaceInitiative: Society4youth organized a workshop on “Principles of Organizing” at Government Shaheed Umar Hayat School and College, Charsadda. More than 35 Students from 10th grade participated in the workshop.
Students were introduced to the principles and practice of organizing. They learned about the process of organizing and developing community service projects that address the needs in their communities.
Students identified several problems in their communities and reflected on concepts of power, as well as acting in ways that achieve shared purpose. Students discussed the idea of organizing leadership to explore collective possibilities.
Students also developed case studies exploring the dynamics of power, organizing, and issues in their own lives and communities.
We are really thankful to Principal Hashim Khan Afridi and Sir Nasar Khan of Govt Shaheed Umar Hayat School and College, Charsadda for their support of the #YouthPeaceInitiative.
