#LIMEPAKISTAN – IT Trainers School Mardan
Society For Youth is excited to share the completion of another one-day training session focused on menstrual health education. 24 teachers from IT Trainer school attended the one-day training in Mardan.
The session highlighted several important topics in menstrual health education such as nutritional management, period poverty and the hormonal changes but also facilitated a meaningful discussions on critical challenges such as creating a safe spaces for young women and a supportive environment.
The teachers from different academic backgrounds ranging from science to social sciences made rich engagement during activities like creating DIY period kit and nutrition management also case studies such as change can begin with one student.
Thank you to Principal Mr. Asad and facilitators Urooj, and Nida Nasreen, for making this one-day training a huge success.
