#SocietyForYouth organized its first successful session of #40in4Campaign at Pak School, Mardan as part of #YouthMenstrualHealth Initaitive. Students from grade 8th-12 participated in the session and were enlightened about hygienic practices that are necessary for better Menstrual health management. Various cultural taboos and myths associated with menstrual health care were highlighted during the session. These myths make it difficult for young women to take care of themselves. Which makes it emotionally straining to participate in everyday life, impeding healthy education. The sessions also directed young students towards healthy and environmentally responsible ways in which women can practice menstrual health care. SFY aims to build robust grass root infrastructure with its wide net of networks and institutional alliances to empower women and train them to serve under-privileged communities. The #40In4Camapign is testament of this.
