Session highlighted hygienic practices that are imperative to healthy and comfortable Menstruation. Furthermore, this session facilitated conversation around challenges that girls have to face regarding Menstrual Hygiene. Menstruation is a natural and normal part of life for women and girls, yet it is surrounded by stigma and taboo.

In order to reduce the stigma and taboo around menstruation, #SocietyForYouth is creating an environment that is open and accepting of menstruation. This includes advocating to end period poverty, educating people about menstruation, and creating a culture of acceptance and understanding.
