The session aimed to educate young female students about menstrual health and hygiene, emphasizing that menstruation is a natural process essential for maintaining reproductive health. The girls were encouraged not to feel ashamed about practicing menstrual hygiene.

Many girls in the community suffer from lack of awareness about menstrual hygiene, leading to hazardous infections, menstrual irregularities, and stress during menarche. The prevalent myths and stigmatization of periods further hinder girls from discussing their concerns and experiences related to menstruation.
