SFY organized its 36th session on Menstrual health management at Jinnah Academy in Nankana Sahib as a part of our #40In4Campaign. The session served 25 young girls, which was their first time attending such a workshop. During the session, students discussed some common myths in society regarding menstruation. Students also challenged these myths by talking about how menstruation is a natural and healthy process in women.

Importantly the session emphasized the need for replacing unhygienic practices with more hygienic ones. Students learned about the risks of using unhygienic materials and also the importance of using appropriate menstrual products. Similarly, students also discussed ways to challenge taboos and promote more positive and constructive conversations about menstruation.

Overall, the session was a resounding success, which facilitated much-needed learning and reflections about menstrual health management.
