#LIMEPAKISTAN – LIMEPartnership SFY x HiSun School & College
We are excited to share an update about our partnership for the #LIMEPakistan Project. The initiative seeks to bring together dozens of educational institutions to foster collaboration around women’s health organizing in Pakistan.
“LIME Pakistan is working to raise awareness about menstrual health…..debunking myths and misconceptions…. promoting open conversations about menstruation…. reducing stigma and shame….It will also fill the gaps related to menstrual health by conducting these workshops, and awareness sessions. They are collaborating with schools, community centers, and healthcare providers to provide accurate information and resources. Additionally, they will advocate for policy changes to ensure access to menstrual hygiene products and proper sanitation facilities. By equipping teachers with menstrual health knowledge, they can better understand the needs and challenges faced by students.
This knowledge helps teachers create a supportive and inclusive environment, where students feel comfortable discussing their menstrual health. It enables teachers to provide accurate information, address misconceptions, and promote positive attitudes towards menstruation”
