The recent floods in Districts Buner and Swat have unleashed an unimaginable scale of devastation. Our hearts ache for the communities grappling with this catastrophe. Over four hundred lives have been tragically lost, hundreds more injured, and thousands of families now stand displaced. More than 2,300 homes have been utterly destroyed, and vital infrastructure—schools, hospitals, police stations, and bridges—lies in ruins.
The economic and social toll is staggering. An estimated 20 billion rupees worth of property, livestock, and livelihoods have been swept away. Think of the families who’ve lost their everything, their economic lifelines severed.
In response, Society for Youth (SFY) has immediately mobilized resources and dedicated volunteers on the ground. The resilient people of Buner urgently need food supplies, clean drinking water, temporary shelters, medical assistance, and long-term support for reconstruction.
This isn’t just about relief; it’s about restoring hope and the possibility of a future. Every contribution, no matter how small, has the power to bring significant change. Please, join us in bringing urgent relief to Buner. Your support directly impacts lives.
